Merina Medical Centre was established in Pattukkottai to make specialist diabetic foot care, advanced wound management and limb-salvage-oriented treatment more accessible closer to home.
A diabetic foot problem can begin with a blister, crack, callus or small wound. Reduced sensation can hide pain; poor circulation, infection and repeated pressure can slow healing and allow a concern to progress.

Specialist diabetic foot care

Pressure and biomechanics are evaluated, with offloading considered where appropriate.
